Ålesund, Norway

That is the view from the stands, and it is the view from the pitch too.

The stadium is an artificial turf enclosure, marked “Kunstgress m/plastholdig innfyll” in Norwegian Football Federation match reports. The capacity is 2,000. The attendance record has stood since a Norwegian Cup match on 25 July 2021, when Spjelkavik IL hosted Molde FK. The crowd numbered 800; Molde won 4–1. The record is the highest figure for this venue.

Spjelkavik IL was founded in 1932. The club has played in the second tier, the 2. divisjon, in 2002. It now competes in the 3. divisjon. The stadium is located at Vasstrandveien 70 in the Spjelkavik district of Ålesund. The address is also referred to as Vasstrandvegen 70/Myrdalsvegen. The ground is sometimes listed as “Spjelkavik kunstgress” in match programmes, a technical designation for the pitch rather than a separate name.

The year the stadium opened is not recorded in available sources. Neither is the identity of its builder. The club’s website, Transfermarkt, Europlan Online and other databases do not carry the information. The ground has not hosted national cup finals or concerts. It has not been the site of significant incidents.
