Three names in twenty years, and the ground at Jåttåvågen became Lyse Arena . The stadium the club left behind was Stavanger Stadion, and the move in 2004 was paid for in part by the municipality, which put up land and a gift of 50 million NOK on top of the 160 million the build itself cost.

The pitch has changed once, and it changed the ground's character. Natural grass lasted from the opening until 2017; in March 2018 artificial turf went down, and the same round of work turned part of the west stand over to safe standing.

The attendance record stands at 16,600 — the figure the ground held after its 2006 expansion — set on 24 June 2007 against Brann . Two later reductions, one in 2012 to make room for giant screens and one in 2018, took the capacity below that mark.

Bryan Adams played here the year it opened, Roger Waters in 2006, Bob Dylan in 2008, Bon Jovi in 2019 and Iron Maiden in 2025. Norway's under-21 side has used the ground, as has the senior women's team, which met the Republic of Ireland here in qualifying for the 2019 World Cup.
