Wiltz is a small town in the north of Luxembourg, and the ground FC Wiltz 71 plays on tells that story without needing to say it. Stade Am Pëtz replaced the club's old home, Stade Géitz, when the move to Weidingen went ahead, and the first match on the new pitch was played on 5 October 2015. The formal opening followed later, on 8 July 2016, the kind of gap between first kick-off and ceremony that suggests the ground was put to use as soon as it was playable rather than held back for a ribbon-cutting.

There is no former name to account for, no earlier stadium the site absorbed or replaced under a different identity — Am Pëtz was built as itself. The natural grass pitch sits at Am Pëtz 4, on the edge of Weidingen, a few minutes outside the centre of Wiltz itself.

What it offers a visiting side is the scale of a ground built for a club rather than a city: three thousand people fill it, and in a country the size of Luxembourg that is enough to make an occasion of a normal league Saturday. FC Wiltz 71 have played here since the move, and the arena remains theirs alone — no ground-share, no second tenant complicating the calendar.
