FC Bavois II plays here as well, so the natural grass takes a full week's traffic.

What the ground is known for is cup football. In 2014 Bavois hosted BSC Young Boys. In the 2019/20 Swiss Cup the club reached the quarter-finals, drawn against Winterthur. Servette have visited more than once, and in 2025 the tie against them drew about 1,300 spectators — more than the stated capacity, which tells you how the figure is arrived at rather than how many bodies the banks will hold. No attendance record has ever been formally logged.

The site is not purely a football ground. A restaurant sits within it, addressed to Chemin du stade 1, while the pitch itself is entered from Place de pré Mousquetaire. The name has not changed: Stade des Peupliers, sometimes written as Terrain des Peupliers, and nothing in the club's records suggests it was ever anything else.
