The Stade Municipal de la Ville de Differdange stands on ground that had already known football for decades before the current build went up — the old Parc des Sports came down in 2011, and what replaced it, finished the following year, kept the same address and the same purpose without any change of name along the way.

At 2,400 seats it sits firmly in the modest bracket by Luxembourg standards, most of that capacity — 1,922 places — seated rather than standing, and the pitch itself is natural grass, kept to the standard the national team expects when it borrows the ground. That borrowing has happened: Luxembourg played Greece here in a friendly on 13 November 2015, a rare instance of the senior side stepping outside the capital.

The Luxembourg Cup final has not returned to Differdange since the competition moved its showpiece elsewhere after 1993, so the stadium's role stays closer to home — it is the fixed base for FC Déifferdeng 03, whose own website carries the club's affairs rather than the ground having a page of its own.

No record of a record crowd survives in the available accounts, and nothing points to concerts or other non-footballing use of the venue. What is left, then, is a workmanlike municipal ground doing exactly the job it was rebuilt for a decade ago.
