Stadio Brianteo

The stadium's own history is tangled up in its name, which has just come untangled again. The ground opened as Stadio Brianteo in 1988 and was renamed after a sponsorship deal with the footwear firm U-Power in September 2020. That contract runs out on 1 July 2026, and with the new season the ground reverts to Brianteo — the name it opened with returning after nearly six years away.

The bigger swing was never the branding, though. In 2001 a safety closure took out the east stand and capacity collapsed to under 5,000. The turnaround came only from 2019, when new seating, floodlight masts and rebuilt changing rooms brought the number back to 9,999 within a year. Promotion to Serie A in 2022 forced the issue further: the east stand went up again in fifty days of work, over 20,000 hours logged, taking the total past 15,000 and eventually to the current 17,102.

The pitch has had its own quiet upkeep — relaid in 2020 and rated the second-best in Serie B that season, then stripped and redone again in July 2024 along with the drainage underneath it.

None of that reconstruction stopped the old record from falling. On 29 May 2026, the Serie B play-off final against Catanzaro pulled in 17,015 supporters, the highest attendance the ground has recorded.
