Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca

The name on the gate is not the one the ground was born with. When it opened in 1962 it was the Стадио делле Цеппелле. That lasted a single season. In 1963, with the stands rebuilt and enlarged after Асколи reached Серия B, the ground was renamed for Чино and Лилло Дель Дука, two brothers from the area who made money in publishing and founded the newspaper Il Giorno.

What that 1963 expansion made possible is the part worth dwelling on. In the early 1980s the Дель Дука held crowds that the modern ground, with its 20,550 seats, cannot come close to. On 28 November 1982 Асколи beat Ювентус 2:0 in front of a full house. Six months later, on 29 May 1983, the same stands were packed again for a survival play-off against Кальяри, and the home side won by the same score. Those two afternoons stand as the ground's high-water mark for attendance; accounts of exactly how many got in vary, and the crush of that Кальяри night is remembered more precisely than it was counted.

Day to day the arena belongs to Асколи Кальчо 1898, which holds the concession on the ground until 2033. The pitch is natural grass. There is no separate stadium website — everything runs through the club's own portal.
