Stadio Città di Arezzo is located in Arezzo. Natural grass covers the surface, and the lines are white against the green.

A large cantilevered roof extends over the main stand, held up by a truss system that looks lighter than its function. That structure contrasts with the heavier, solid block of the western stand, which is built directly into the hillside. The pitch sits below the level of the surrounding road, making the stadium feel like a sunken bowl rather than a raised monument.

The history of the ground is tied to the town’s only top-flight season. The highest attendance record sits at approximately 25,000 spectators, set during a Serie A match against Juventus on May 10, 1961. That crowd filled the space completely, turning the sunken bowl into a cauldron. The atmosphere must have been intense, as the town had never seen this level of football. The stadium has hosted concerts as well, such as the Arezzo Wave Love Festival, which brought a different kind of energy to the field.

A major redevelopment project was presented in late 2024, designed by Carlo Antonio Fayer. The plan involves removing the athletics track that currently surrounds the pitch and shifting the playing area closer to the stands. The western stand will be retained, but new stands will rise on the east, north, and south. The new capacity will sit at approximately 12,926 all-seater, all-covered seats. The project includes a 1.3 MW photovoltaic system and LED lighting, marking it as the first stadium in Italy developed under the new 'Stadium Law' (Legge Stadi). Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2026, with completion by 2030.
