Stadio Giovanni Zini

The ground took its name in 1924, five years after it opened as the Campo di via Persico, when Cremonese named it after Giovanni Zini, a goalkeeper of the club. Under Fascism it carried another name, Campo Polisportivo Roberto Farinacci, before reverting.

Little of the 1919 ground survives. A cyclone brought down the main stand, and the rebuilding that followed ran into the early 1930s. The Distinti and Curva Nord were added in 1977, the Curva Sud and the side stands between 1983 and 1986, then a restructuring in 2007 that gave the central stand the name of Domenico Luzzara. Promotion to Serie B brought a further three to four million euros in 2017 and 2018, spent on roofing the Curva Sud and rebuilding the Distinti; promotion to Serie A brought roughly five million more in 2022, for LED lighting, a new public address system and hospitality areas.

The 1988-89 Coppa Italia final was played here because Sampdoria's own ground was being rebuilt for the 1990 World Cup; Sampdoria beat Napoli 4-0. Rugby has used it too — Italy against Fiji in 2013, and the final of the 2015 Under-20 World Championship.
