The Stadio Nino Ciccione sits in Imperia, with the port area visible nearby. The ground was inaugurated in September 1969. The municipality, which owns the facility, renamed it for Giovanni "Nino" Ciccione, a corporal killed in World War I.

The architecture is fragmented. The surface is natural grass, but as of May 2025, it is in critical condition. Failed reseeding efforts following lighting tower renovations have left the pitch unusable, putting home matches of A.S.D. Imperia at risk. The club plays in Serie D and remains tied to the ground despite the state of the turf.

The stadium has a history of closures and partial reopenings. After the 1985 Heysel disaster, it was declared unsafe; the seated section remained closed until 1990, and the curves were not fully restored until 1993. It has hosted concerts, including performances by Ligabue in 1993 and Lucio Dalla in 1988. More recently, a €1.15 million renovation project added LED floodlights and solar panels, transforming the surrounding area into a "Cittadella dello Sport" with courts for basketball and padel.
