The old athletics track is gone, replaced by three modest tribunes that sit low to the grass.

The rebuild in 1992 stripped the old concrete shell and gave it a modern face, but the bones remained the same. The renovation between 2013 and 2015 took it further; the floodlights were upgraded to 500 Lux, bright enough to cut through the Frankfurt evening rain, and the changing rooms were moved into a new functional building. The capacity is 5,750, a number that feels small for a city of this size, yet it fills up when Eintracht Frankfurt Women play.

The surface is natural grass, though roll-out turf appears for the bigger fixtures. The crowd has seen everything from the all-time record of 20,000 in 1948 to the current capacity standing room only in 2024 against Bayern München. It is a quiet place, but not a sleepy one. The wind comes off the river and cuts straight through the open ends of the stadium.

The address is Rödelheimer Parkweg 39. It belongs to the city, not to a developer. The women’s team stays there, alongside SG Rot-Weiß and the American football club Frankfurt Universe. The old names are gone, but the ground still remembers.
