Stadion am Zwetschenweg

The ground at Zwetschenweg has outlived the clubs that used it. It belonged first to FSV Ockershausen, founded in 1920 in the Marburg locality whose name it carried, and it kept going after that club merged with Germania Marburg. The older title, Sportplatz am Zwetschenweg , still turns up in local usage, and the site has picked up a sponsor's name, the Reddy-Küchen-Arena , without shedding either of the others.

Its present tenants arrived by a similar route. Sportfreunde Blau-Gelb Marburg came out of a 1999 merger between SV Blau-Gelb Marburg, formed in 1965, and Sportfreunde Marburg, formed four years earlier — two neighbouring clubs from the same city that settled on one address between them.

What changed the ground itself came later.

The women's side has given the ground its busiest recent season. In 2026 they took the Hessenpokal final 3–0 against TSG Lütter, and the win carried them into the DFB-Pokal , where they beat Chemnitzer FC 6–0 — a scoreline unusual for a first-round tie between clubs from different tiers.
