Stadion Brežice
Brežice, Slovenia
Stadion Brežice serves one club, NK Brežice 1919, and the ground reflects that single purpose: no running track circles the pitch, no floodlights rise above the stands, so matches here are played strictly in daylight. The natural grass pitch sits on Cesta bratov Milavcev, in the town of Brežice, and holds up to a thousand spectators — a figure that three separate sources agree on, which is more consensus than most grounds this size ever get.
What sets it apart from the countless other lower-league pitches scattered across Slovenia is not size but plainness. There is no former name to untangle, no story of a stadium renamed after a sponsor or a local hero — it has simply been Stadion Brežice, tied to its town and its one tenant, without the layers of history that complicate the records at older grounds.
