The word "Naftagas" in the name gives the game away before anything else.

Nothing about the ground suggests ambition beyond its own fences. The club's own website leans on the phrase "more than a century of football tradition" to describe the place, though it stops short of naming when the stadium itself went up.

The more recent turn is administrative rather than architectural. In July 2026 the club rebranded as FK Proleter 023 and shifted its home fixtures to Karađorđev Park in Zrenjanin proper, leaving the Elemir ground behind as the site of its history rather than its present.
