The stadium in Legnica is defined by its roof. The stands themselves are older, rebuilt from the ground up during a reconstruction that ran from 2005 to 2009. Before that, the site held a U-shaped structure from the 1960s, but the current layout is strictly for football.

These changing facilities are housed in a semicircular building that was originally a German war memorial from the First World War, repurposed for the club after the war ended.

The venue is the home of MKS Miedź Legnica, who play in the I liga. The capacity is 6,156. It has not hosted a final or a match for the national team, and the attendance record—6,156—was set in a league game against Górnik Zabrze in 2018, when the all-seater configuration reached its limit. The official name, Stadion Miejski im. Orła Białego, was fixed in 2013, a change from the previous title, Stadion 25-lecia PRL, which referred to the 25th anniversary of the Polish People's Republic.

The stadium sits in the Tarninów district, within the Park Miejski. The address is Aleja Orła Białego 1. It is run by the Legnica Sports and Recreation Centre rather than by the club, and there is no separate website for the ground itself. Match reports and schedules appear on the club's portal instead.
