Stadion Jožky Silného

The name is barely four years old. Until 18 June 2022 the ground carried no honorific at all, just the tenant's own — Stadion SK Hanácká Slavia Kroměříž — and the switch to Stadion Jožky Silného came with a proper ceremony, exhibition matches and a plaque, marking a local-born player the club had produced before he moved on to a wider career. The renaming sat inside a broader campaign called "Kanonýři v Kroměříži", built around the town's football scorers.

What the stadium replaced is the more interesting story. Hanácká Slavia's earlier home, Rejdiště, had hosted the club since 1923 and had itself started life as a cycling track before football took it over. When the club moved to the current ground in 1989, Rejdiště was retired outright rather than rebuilt — part of the old site now carries housing, part survives only as a school playing field. So the 1989 stadium is not a renovation with a longer memory underneath it; it is a clean break, a new build on a new plot at Obvodová 3607.

Ownership sits with the town of Kroměříž, with day-to-day running handled by the municipal sports body Sportovní zařízení města Kroměříže — the club is tenant, not landlord.
