Stadion Juvenii
Kraków, Poland
Formerly: Park Sportowy "Juvenia"
The playing surface is natural grass.
Stadion Juvenii sits on the Błonia meadows at ul. Na Błoniach 7.
The venue has lived through different sports. It opened on June 25, 1911, making it the first permanent stadium in the city. Originally, hosts football, tennis, and athletics. Today, it is the home ground for Juvenia Kraków, which focuses on rugby union. The club also hosts international festivals, including the Krakow 7s.
The capacity is officially 800 spectators. A recent renovation added a prefabricated concrete grandstand with 445 seats, though standing areas can extend the total to 1,500 for larger events. The ground has seen history. During the Second World War, it was the site of illegal underground matches. German forces later closed the venue, incorporating the land into a horse racing track.
After the war, rugby became the primary sport. The club has played under various names, including Salwator Juvenia Kraków between 2006 and 2009. The stadium itself has kept its original name. On October 7, 2006, the venue hosted an official international match between Poland and Andorra. More recently, the club played a friendly against Hungary on September 11, 2021.
