Stadion Karađorđe
Novi Sad, Serbia
Formerly: Stadion Vojvodine, Gradski stadion
It is a stadium that has lived through several lives. The original name was restored in 2007 after decades of being called the City Stadium, bringing back the name of the man who led the first Serbian Uprising. When the weather turns cold, the ground underneath remains playable because of the heating system hidden beneath the hybrid grass. The floodlights, installed in 2013, are bright enough to keep the game going even when the sun drops behind the apartment blocks that rise up in the distance.
FK Vojvodina are the permanent residents here.
The capacity is listed as 14,458, but the official record is much higher, set on a day in March when 30,000 people watched the club play Celtic.
