Stadion Metalac

Ask about the football venue in Gornji Milanovac, and the address itself tells the story: several sources still file it under Užice, a hundred kilometres away, where the actual home ground belongs to FK Sloboda — the stadium named after Radomir Antić. Stadion Metalac is a separate build entirely, and the mix-up says more about how the record gets copied around than about the place itself.

Before this ground existed, FK Metalac made do with the old Tavako pitch and, when that stopped meeting league standards, borrowed grounds in other towns just to fulfil fixtures. Work on a proper replacement started on 4 October 2011, and the club, formerly a tenant everywhere, finally had a fixed address by 12 September 2012, when the new stadium opened. Amiga d.o.o. of Kraljevo built it, and the ground has kept its original name — Stadion Metalac — without a rebrand since.

FK Metalac has played there as sole tenant since the opening.
