Stadion Miejski w Nowym Sączu

The new ground at ul. Jana Kilińskiego 47 sits where a previous facility stood for more than half a century. The old Stadion imienia Ojca Władysława Augustynka closed after the 2021 season, and the site was cleared in 2022. What replaced it opened on August 30, 2025. The most striking feature is the single covered stand that runs along one side of the pitch. The capacity is 8,111 seats, all under cover. The figure was reached immediately on the opening day, when Sandecja played Chojniczanka Chojnice in the Betclic 2. Liga. The match ended 1:1 and the crowd stayed for the whole game. That concert, held on August 28, 2026, drew more than 10,000 people, well beyond the stadium's limits, and spectators stood on the perimeter grass. The project was delayed for two years and the budget doubled from the original 50 million PLN estimate. Investigations followed, but the ground stands empty of controversy in the daytime photographs, quiet between matches and events. Sandecja Nowy Sącz are the primary tenants, though the club has not yet secured promotion beyond the second tier.
