Stadion pod Goricom

The pitch under the Gorica hill was laid out by Italian soldiers during the wartime occupation. In 1952 the stadium burned down entirely; the version raised in its place held something close to 17,000.

Floodlights arrived only in 1989. The pitch was fully redone again in 2014. Work on a new main stand along the east side is planned for 2025.

Between 1946 and 1992 the city itself was called Titograd, so contemporary reports place the ground there rather than in Podgorica — the name changed around the stadium, not the stadium itself.

Montenegro's first official match, against Hungary on 24 March 2007, was played here and won 2–1 in front of 12,000. Qualifiers for the 2010 and 2014 World Cups and for Euro 2012 and Euro 2016 followed, along with the Montenegrin Cup finals.

In 2004, building material was thrown onto the pitch during a match against Partizan, stopping play for fifteen minutes. On 27 March 2015, a Euro 2016 qualifier against Russia was abandoned in the 67th minute after Igor Akinfeev was struck by a flare; the match was awarded 3–0 to Russia.
