Stadion Tušanj

The name has never changed. Tušanj is the district, the ground took it in 1957 and kept it, through every rebuild that followed — floodlights in 1979, a tartan running track laid in 2002, and then the North Stand, 3,200 seats that took from 2009 to 2014 to finish and cost around 5m KM. Each of those arrived decades apart, which is its own kind of biography.

What sits under the players now is the newest part of it. A hybrid pitch went in during 2022, a reconstruction of roughly 1,150,000 in local terms, backed by the Bosnian federation and UEFA. There is a secondary artificial-turf pitch alongside. The timing matters, because the year before, reports out of Tuzla described infrastructure falling behind — including a section of wall that collapsed.

The ground draws crowds beyond league football. The first leg of the 2015/16 Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup final was played here, Sloboda against Radnik. The national team has used it for friendlies, among them a meeting with Zambia in 2021. And in 2012 Zdravko Čolić played a concert on the pitch that pulled something near 10,000 people.

The address puts it at Trg Stara tržnica, in the middle of Tuzla rather than out on a ring road.
