Stadion u Nisy

The name that came first was Stadion Pod Chudobincem .

Building work started that same year, in the Staré Město district. What is recorded is that it kept being reworked rather than replaced: 1978, then again through the 1990s, with 1995 and 2001 marking further rounds of rebuilding.

The playing surface stayed grass through all of it. In 1997 an artificial pitch went in on the site, but as a training area only; it never took over from the main field for competitive matches, and the distinction has held.

FC Slovan Liberec play here now, the direct descendant of the club the town hall gave the land to.
