The pitch at Bilje has been in use since 1976, and for most of that time it was grass like every other village ground on this stretch of the Vipava valley. That changed in 2018, when an artificial surface was laid. In a corner of Slovenia where autumn rain and the wind coming down the valley can turn a village pitch into something unplayable by November, the switch matters more than it would in a city: the ground keeps its fixtures, and the club keeps its training on the same field it plays on rather than moving out to whatever is dry.

The ground is home to ND Bilje, a club that has also appeared in team lists as NK Bilje and, under sponsorship, as Vitanest Bilje. It sits in the Municipality of Miren-Kostanjevica, and it belongs to the village in the plain sense that there is nowhere else in Bilje to play.

Capacity is modest. The figure recorded after the ground's infrastructure was expanded is 500. That is a number to keep in proportion — it describes a rail-and-bank arrangement along one side rather than a stand, and on the bigger league dates the crowd stands where it fits.

There is no official website for the ground, so fixture details travel through the club rather than through the venue itself.
