Stadion Varteks
The club's own badge and business carry the Varteks name from the same textile firm, and the ground has followed that identity through every renovation since it went up in 1931.
Since 1993 the senior side and the under-21s have used Varaždin regularly, and the pitch has held its own against the capital's bigger arenas — the record crowd of 9,390 came for a friendly against Greece on 25 April 2001. It also carried a major domestic occasion in 2017, hosting the Croatian Cup final between Rijeka and Dinamo Zagreb.
For matches where organisers prefer a neutral label, it reverts to the plain Gradski Stadion — city stadium — a formality that sits oddly against how attached the fanbase is to the unofficial name. The seating capacity itself has shifted across different counts over the years, another sign of a ground that has been rebuilt in pieces rather than all at once, gradually settling into the all-seated arena it is now.
