Stadion Z'dežele

Celje's stadium takes its name not from the city but from the local meat producer that bought the naming rights in July 2017, replacing the previous Arena Petrol branding that had stood since the ground opened. Slovenia's Cup finals gravitate here more than to any rival venue: Celje against Gorica in 2004–05, Koper's shoot-out win over Celje the following year, Koper again in 2006–07 against Maribor, then Interblok versus Maribor in 2007–08, and Aluminij's win over Bravo Grosuplje in 2025–26.

The ground grew in four distinct stages rather than arriving complete: an east stand of 3,600 seats opened the venue in September 2003, the west stand followed in 2004, the south in 2005, and the north stand in 2008 finally closed the bowl to its present capacity. The national team has used it in bursts rather than as a settled base — 2004 to 2007, then again in 2013 and 2025 — and its busiest night remains a defeat: 10,055 turned out on 3 September 2005 to watch Slovenia lose 3–2 to Norway in World Cup qualifying, still the attendance record.

In March 2021 the stadium hosted three group-stage fixtures of the Under-21 European Championship, among them Spain against the Czech Republic. A 2024 refurbishment brought the ground up to UEFA standard. NK Celje have played here since the first stand went up, with NK Šampion using it as a second home between 2011 and 2014.
