Slatina's ground carries two names in the same breath: it has answered to 1 Mai since the name changed in 1930. The wooden stands that went up in 1924 gave way to concrete only in the early 1970s, and the rebuild that actually shaped the place still standing came in 1982, when the main stand was replaced outright and the pitch itself was redone.
Its best-attended night was August 1975, Dinamo Slatina against Steagul Roșu Brașov. Two Under-21 fixtures: Romania against Italy in October 1983, and Romania against Turkey in April 1985.
