Stadionul Comunal Tunari

The arena has been rebuilt piecemeal rather than all at once: work in 2004, another round in 2017 and 2018, and most recently a renovation spanning 2023 and 2024. That last project pushed the club out of its own ground for the season — CS Tunari shifted its home fixtures to the Central Stadium at Romania's national football centre while the builders were in. There is no dedicated stadium website; anything on the renovation gets posted through the commune's own site rather than a club channel, a reminder of who actually owns the place — the Commune of Tunari itself, not the football side.

What CS Tunari plays on once the work finishes is still natural grass, laid out on Strada Traian. None of this points to a venue built for spectacle. It is a communal ground that has quietly kept pace with its tenant, patched up every few years rather than replaced, which is its own kind of continuity.
