Stadionul Concordia
The Stadionul Concordia was raised in Chiajna, specifically, built up between 2004 and 2007 rather than converted from an older municipal pitch, and it opened in 2007 as the home CS Concordia Chiajna had never previously had.
What sets it apart from the capital's bigger arenas is scale on purpose: a 5,123-seat ground built for a club drawn from a commune, not a city, and it has stayed sized to that. The commune itself owns the stadium, which explains why it has functioned less as a civic showpiece and more as a working home ground tied directly to the club it was built for. CS Concordia Chiajna has played there without interruption since the opening, giving the place a continuity that newer, more frequently repurposed grounds around Bucharest don't share.
The pitch is natural grass, laid out on Drumul Gării, a short address that doubles as a reminder of how modest the surrounding infrastructure is. There is no record of the ground hosting finals, concerts, or attendance milestones worth noting, and no history of an older stadium standing on the site before it — the Concordia's whole story runs in one direction, from a bare plot to a functioning home ground, without the demolitions or renamings that mark so many of its neighbours.
