Stadionul Oțelul
The address on the club's own site and the address in the venue listings do not quite agree, and that small discrepancy is a fair introduction to Stadionul Oțelul . It sits in Țiglina III, on Strada Anghel Saligny in Галац .
Construction ran across three years, from 1979, and the ground was opened on 30 March 1982.
The confusion worth clearing up concerns the other stadium in the city. Stadionul Nicolae Rainea , formerly Stadionul Dunărea, was also used by Ocelul Галац , and much of what circulates about a 2004 reconstruction, a 1920 opening and a capacity in the twenties or thirties belongs to that ground, not to this one.
