Stadionul Trans-Sil
Trans-Sil takes its name not from the club that built it but from the one that came later. It opened in 2007 as Stadionul Matricon, then went through spells as Municipal and Siletina before Trans-Sil Târgu Mureș reshaped it after 2008.
Those tenants have not stayed put. The ground sat without a settled home side after that until ASA Târgu Mureș, revived, returned in 2025 — the same club whose website is the closest thing the stadium has to an official page of its own.
The record crowd dates back to 21 March 2012, when ASA Târgu Mureș drew Steaua București and 7,500 tickets went out the door. Attendances since have settled closer to half that figure, which makes the number from that one Steaua visit look less like a baseline and more like a ceiling nobody has come near again.
The ground sits on Strada Insulei .
