Stadium MK
Stadium MK opened for its first matches on 18 July 2007, though the official ceremony, with Queen Elizabeth II in attendance, did not follow until that November. The upper tier was filled in later to bring capacity to the current 30,500.
Its record crowd was not set by MK Dons. On 6 October 2015, Fiji played Uruguay here during the Rugby World Cup, and 30,048 turned up — the highest attendance the stadium has recorded. The 2015 FA Women's Cup final, Arsenal's 2-0 win over Everton, was staged at Stadium MK rather than Wembley, and drew a peak television audience of 1.32 million.
The pitch itself was relaid in May 2025, with the old hybrid surface replaced by a stitched GrassMax hybrid turf. Off the football calendar, the stadium has hosted concerts by Take That, Rod Stewart, My Chemical Romance, Imagine Dragons and, in 2023, Rammstein. Stadium MK has kept its original name since opening — talks over selling those naming rights stalled in March 2026.
