Vitosha's ground in the village of Bistritsa was built for a village club. FC Vitosha (Bistritsa) has played here since the stadium opened.
What sets the place apart is who else has turned up. Between 2017 and 2019, Septemvri Sofia used the ground. Then, CSKA 1948 moved in after the Bulgarian Football Union's licensing committee approved the switch that November. The reasoning was blunt: CSKA 1948 had no stadium of their own meeting top-flight requirements.
The ground's limits showed on 12 March 2023, when CSKA 1948 hosted CSKA Sofia.
