Stadiumi Bajram Aliu

The ground in Скендерай carries the war in its name. It was built in the Yugoslav period, when it was simply the town stadium, and it kept that name until 1999. Afterwards it was renamed for Байрам Алиу, a fighter of the ОАК who was killed in the conflict.

What it does not carry is a documented past. The year it opened was never fixed, and the capacity has never settled either: counts run from a thousand to four and a half thousand, and the changes that produced that spread were not written down anywhere.

The pitch is grass, on Rruga Ilaz Kodra at the edge of a town that Serbian maps still call Србица. It is the home of КФ Дреница, a club older than most of what surrounds it — founded in 1958, though one date puts it at the end of November 1957.

The club's best recent run came in the 2023/24 Кубок Косова, when Дреница reached the semi-finals. No attendance figure from any night at the ground has been recorded.
