The pitch itself is cut to the full 105 by 68 metres. Natural grass, and only natural grass.
No lights means the calendar sets the schedule rather than the other way round. Kick-off follows the daylight, which in the winter months narrows the window considerably. A club with a floodlit ground can move a fixture to the evening and take the crowd that comes after work; KF Ferizaj, playing here, cannot.
The club has been in the town since 1923, longer than most of what surrounds it, and the ground carries the name of Ismet Shabani rather than the town or a sponsor. It has carried that name throughout — no rebranding, no renaming to mark a new backer or a new era.
The town appears on maps under two names, Ferizaj and Urošhevac, depending on which one is being used. The ground is in the middle of it, and on a matchday two thousand people is a figure the town can produce without much difficulty.
