Stadiumi me bari sintetik

The name is not a name. Stadiumi me bari sintetik — the stadium with synthetic grass — is what people in Gjilan call the ground because that is what it is.

It exists because the city's main ground stopped existing. The Gjilan City Stadium, Stadiumi i Qytetit të Gjilanit , went into reconstruction in 2017. What was left was a synthetic pitch on Rruga Abdullah Tahiri, and that pitch took on two clubs at once: FC Drita and SC Gjilani .

The scale is the point. The rebuilt city stadium is planned to hold 9,500.

There is no opening date attached to it and no official site.
