Suzuki Arena
Kielce, Poland
Formerly: Stadion Miejski, Kolporter Arena
The Suzuki Arena does not hide behind architecture.
The ground opened on 1 April 2006. Before that date the site held a previous municipal stadium that was demolished; the new structure was designed by ATJ Architekci. Since opening, Korona Kielce have played every home fixture here, and the stadium has hosted Poland national team matches, including a 10–0 win over San Marino in an April 2009 World Cup qualifier. It also staged three group matches during the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2017, when England U21 beat Sweden U21 1–0 on 16 June that year. The venue has never hosted a Polish Cup final, and the record crowd of 15,500 was set in September 2006 when Korona beat Legia Warszawa 3–1.
Renovations in 2016 updated the lighting and added screens; further work in 2022 replaced seats in the west stand, with more replacements planned through 2026. The playing surface is natural grass with undersoil heating, and the capacity is listed as 15,500 seats.
