Széktói Stadion

Kecskemét does not have a rotation of arenas to argue over; the Széktói Stadion is simply where the city's football has been played since 1962. The ground opened with a domestic fixture against Ganz-MÁVAG SE, and for three decades it held crowds of up to ten thousand.

Safety rules tightening in the early 1990s cut that number down substantially. A rebuild under a national programme in 2002 shaped what stands there now: extra seating, a covered stand pushed further out, and a new main building. What came out the other side holds just over six thousand, split between seats and standing room, which fixes the ground's character as compact and unmistakably local rather than a venue built with ambitions of hosting beyond it.

The pitch itself has stayed constant through all of that: natural grass, on the same footprint since the reconstruction. Kecskeméti TE have not needed to change address, and neither has the stadium's name — no sponsor prefix has ever attached itself to Széktói Stadion, which for a ground of this size is itself a small marker of how little has been asked of it beyond serving the club it was built for.
