Tauras Sports School
Kaunas, Lithuania
Formerly: Kaunas Football School Stadium, SM Tauras Stadium
What stands out first is the nature of the ground itself. It is not merely a football pitch but a functioning training centre.
The ground has changed hands several times. It was once the home for the Kaunas Football School and later SM Tauras Stadium before FK Kauno Žalgiris took over in 2020. They used it while their main stadium was being rebuilt. The capacity is modest, around five hundred people, confirmed by several sources. It is a local venue, serving the Vilijampolė district along the Neries river bank. The surface is natural grass, cut in neat stripes. It is not a place of grand history or international tournaments but a working strip of turf used for preparation and youth development.
