Taylors Avenue
The ground belongs to the council, not the club. Mid and East Antrim Borough Council owns Taylors Avenue.
It was Barn Field before it was Taylors Avenue. In 1952 the necessary improvements were carried out on the site so the club could go up into the Intermediate League. The stadium opened in 1968 and was refurbished in 2005.
In 2015 Carrick joined Larne and Ballymena United in a combined bid for £17m of the £36m the Northern Ireland government had set aside for local football stadium funding. The council approved the substantial rebuild in 2020: the west stand demolished and replaced with a 568-seat structure, and a new east stand of 635 seats put up opposite. That work brought new dressing rooms, a viewing box, turnstiles and a media and safety tower.
The dressing rooms did not settle the matter. In August 2023 the club lodged an application for a new clubhouse and modern changing facilities. The playing surface is natural grass.
