Tele2 Arena

The building has no history of its own before 2013. It opened on 20 July that year, after delays that meant it missed the IIHF World Championship that May. The architects were White Arkitekter, Arup Sports, and Tema. The pitch is artificial turf, a surface that does not allow natural grass to take root, though temporary mats can be laid for major tournaments. Djurgårdens IF and Hammarby IF play here. Hammarby’s attendance record stands at 31,810 against BK Häcken in November 2018.

The capacity for a football match is 30,000. For a concert, the space can hold up to 45,000. The venue has hosted the World Men's Handball Championship and the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 esports tournament.
