Ten Acres
Eastleigh F.C. moved here from Walnut Avenue in 1957, but the structures around the pitch were assembled piecemeal over four decades: floodlights in 1976, a 352-seat grandstand in 2004, an extended roof over the Silverlake Stand in 2006, the 2,290-seat South Stand in 2014 and the Mackoy Community Stand a year later. Of the 2,700 seats in a capacity of 5,192, the South Stand alone holds the large majority.
Ten Acres has been in use since the day it opened.
Its record crowd is recent rather than historic. The draw brought Newport County here in the third round of the FA Cup on 16 January 2024, and 5,075 came through the turnstiles — the highest figure the ground has recorded. The three attendances behind it are all from the same short span: Bolton Wanderers on 9 January 2016 (5,025), Reading on 3 December 2023 (5,002) and Manchester United Women on 11 February 2024 (4,554). Four of the biggest days at Stoneham Lane fall inside eight years.
The pitch is natural grass, which constrains what else the site can host, though not entirely: Black Butter Records has staged events here, and the Playing The Field Festival used the ground in May 2025.
