Theranda City Stadium
The thing that defines this ground in Suharekë is what it cannot do. Suharekë's city stadium — still listed in older records as Stadiumi i Qytetit të Suharekës, and before that as Suva Reka City Stadium — has never held a UEFA licence for international fixtures, and the reasons are structural: the ground does not offer seating throughout, and it falls short of other safety requirements set for European ties.
That gap became visible when KF Ballkani, the club that plays its Superliga home matches here, reached European competition. For the 2022/23 continental campaign the side did not play in Suharekë at all; the home legs were staged at the Fadil Vokri stadium in Prishtina. The Kosovo Cup final has likewise gone elsewhere as a matter of habit, to Prishtina or Drenas. Kosovo's national team has never appeared here.
Nothing on the present site has been rebuilt to close that distance. Instead, in October 2024, plans were announced for an entirely new stadium in the town, with 6,518 places. That project had not been built at the time these details were compiled.
Day to day the ground is a working municipal venue on Brigada 123, its pitch an artificial surface, shared over the years with FC Suhareka as well. Attendance records for individual matches are not held in the available accounts.
