Chernomorets' home ground sits in Varna's Chaika district, and its story is really the story of who built it. In 1968 volunteers and supporters put it up themselves, at the initiative of club president Vladimir Chakarov. The ground originally held around 12,500.

That changed in 2008, when a full reconstruction fitted plastic seating across every stand and brought capacity down to a more modest 8,250. A second phase followed in 2015–16: the Ministry of Youth and Sport put up BGN 1 million for floodlights and a new LED scoreboard.

The pitch has stayed natural grass throughout, and the ground remains Chernomorets' own. There has been no rebrand, no naming-rights deal attached to it — it is still, plainly, the Ticha Stadium, a name that has outlasted both its original capacity and the volunteers who raised it.
