The ground sits in Парке Патрисиос , in the south of Буэнос-Айрес , on Авенида Амансио Алькорта.
What it carries is a name that changed twice. It opened as Эстадио Хорхе Ньюбери , after the Argentinian aviator, and kept that name through the years when the current structure was still being built around it. Work on the new building started in 1941, and the first match inside it was played on 7 September 1947 — «Уракан» beat «Бока Хуниорс» 4:3. The official opening waited until November 1949, when the hosts beat Uruguayan side «Пеньяроль» 4:1.
The present name arrived in September 1967, when the club renamed the ground after Томас Адольфо Дуко , a former club president.
The pitch is natural grass.
