Toughsheet Community Stadium
Three names sit on the badge of this ground before "Toughsheet" ever appears — Reebok Stadium, Macron Stadium, University of Bolton Stadium — each marking a sponsorship cycle rather than any change to the bowl itself. Wanderers moved here in September 1997, and the design that greeted them, with corner infill left unbuilt once evacuation planners raised objections, is still the shape standing in Horwich now.
Coldplay filmed part of the "Fix You" video on this pitch during a July 2005 show. Rugby league has left its own mark: a 2022 World Cup fixture pitting England against France.
Jeremy Corbyn addressed a rally here in August 2019, and during the pandemic parts of the complex sat empty of supporters altogether, pressed into service for Crown Court sittings and vaccination clinics instead.
