Town Square at Our Tampines Hub
Tampines, Singapore
Formerly: Tampines Town Hub
The stadium sits on the second floor of a wider complex. That upper level holds **Town Square**, where the pitch lies.
The playing surface is synthetic, laid out in the standard lines for football and rugby, with no under-soil heating to be seen.
The venue opened to the public in the latter half of 2017, replacing an older sports hall that had stood there since 1989. Plans for the new site began in 2011, and the name changed from **Tampines Town Hub** to **Our Tampines Hub** in 2015 before the doors opened. It sits in the Tampines planning area of Singapore, a district that has seen its community facilities consolidated into this single block.
**Tampines Rovers FC** returned to the ground after six years away, playing their first match here in July of that year. **Geylang International FC** joined them a year later, and the two clubs now share the space for **Singapore Premier League** matches.
The stands can hold around 5,000 people, though some records list the figure slightly higher. The largest crowd to date filled the seats for the opening game, watching the hosts beat a side from Brunei. More recently, the ground became the first in Singapore to use **VAR** technology for league matches, a change that altered how officials made decisions on the pitch.
