Truist Point

Truist Point is a new ground, opening in 2019 as part of the city’s Catalyst Project, but it has already become the central place for sport in the area. Originally built for the High Point Rockers baseball team, the venue has since adjusted its layout to serve Carolina Core FC as well, removing some of the first-base seats to give the pitch more room.

The most striking feature of the place is the playing surface.

On match days, the place fills up quickly. The highest crowd for a soccer game here was 4,774 people, a number that nearly fills the available space. The venue also hosts other events, from wrestling matches to holiday light shows, but it is the sports that define the day-to-day life of the ground.
