Under Armour Stadium

Most grounds of this size belong to a school or a parks department. This one belongs to a sportswear company: the pitch sits inside the Port Covington campus that Under Armour built for its own headquarters, at 2620 Port Covington Drive.

The scale follows from that. 1,400 seats, all of them bleachers with benchbacks. It is a corporate facility that happens to stage competitive football, alongside school sides including St Frances Academy. No NFL or MLS club has any claim on it.

It opened in 2023 and was used almost immediately — Team Maryland trained there that autumn, and school fixtures followed, one of them on 30 September 2023. Before the commercial name settled, the ground was referred to as The Stadium at The House, after the campus building it adjoins; it carries no earlier name because there was no earlier stadium here.

The surface is artificial throughout, which suits a ground expected to take training sessions, school matches and a USL League Two season in the same calendar year. For a venue this new and this small, the wear is the constraint that matters, and the synthetic pitch is the answer to it.
