Stadium
Undir Mýruhjalla
Formerly: Skála Vøllurin, Skála Vøllur, Skála Stadion
The 1984 Faroese Cup final was played in Skáli rather than at Gundadalur in Tórshavn, and HB beat GÍ 2:0.
The rest of its history is the slower kind. Skála ÍF have played here since the ground opened, and the pitch is artificial turf. The name is not fixed either: databases still carry it as Skála Vøllurin or Skála Vøllur , and older references simply as Skála Stadion, so the same ground appears under three headings depending on where you look.
The one substantial change came in 2007, when 300 folding seats went in. That was not a matter of demand — but of paperwork. UEFA sets a minimum for grounds hosting European ties, and the seats were installed to meet it. What the work cost has not been recorded anywhere accessible.
